Here are some pics that show how we do life together. Whether it’s attending the weekly Bible study, sharing a meal, or stocking items for sale at the Thrift Store, we are a family.
We’ve just opened a thrift store to support Open Arms Mission.

We are so thankful to Dana Gurley and DHEC (Department of Health and Environmental Control) for visiting Open Arms this past Saturday to administer Flu and Hepatitis A vaccinations.
That’s right! DHEC was able to administer 24 vaccine shots for our friends and family, some of the most vulnerable in our city. We can’t thank you enough for coming to our humble shelter to lend a hand. Thank you, Dana, and thank you to your team!
We are a family-oriented team of like-minded people working together to help those in need. Some drive people to jobs, others cook or clean, whatever it takes to keep the mission running.
The name Open Arms says it all, we welcome everyone. There are some very basic rules in place for the protection of those who we serve, e.g., don’t show up intoxicated and agree to our policies. Please review the Criteria for Acceptance for details.
We don’t have a lot of clothing, but we know where to connect you to help you find what you need.
We all need a secure place to rest. Most people take this for granted, but Open Arms exists to fill the gap when you need a warm place on a cold night.
